Restaurants in Eastbourne

Eastbourne has transformed itself from a seaside holiday destination for the over 60’s to a charming British seaside town attracting a cool crowd from neighbouring Brighton as well as London. The newly opened Towner Gallery featuring some of the best contemporary art around could be one of the reasons but there is plenty more going for this East Sussex seaside town too. Soak up the stunning views over the sea and the four mile stretch of beach which is beautifully lined with hotels, B&B’s, restaurants and cafes; enjoy the hiking trails and cycling paths of the local countryside and of course there is Beachy Head with its famous lighthouse. The town centre is now filled with little independent boutiques, delis, cafes and a great choice of restaurants whilst the surrounding countryside offers a fabulous array of pubs with first class kitchens.
