About

The Beachy Head in Eastbourne is a country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.

The Beachy Head Hotel started life as the Queen's Restaurant in 1880 and became the Beachy Head Hotel in the 1890s. During WW2 it housed an advanced listening post when according to one local, nothing was served but mince and onions. Today we boast a much more appetising menu in a lovely setting with great views over Eastbourne Beach.

Many guests are attracted to our award-winning pub for the great views of the Seven Sisters chalk cliffs and its proximity to South Downs National Park. During World War II, the pub served as a listening post.
