Special Offers

Whether you’re after a relaxing weekend away soaking in the seaside ambience, or are just popping down for a day trip, Eastbourne is a popular destination for all types of getaways. Sitting just east of Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain and just below the South Downs National Park, Eastbourne and the surrounding area offers unbeatable views of unspoilt coastline and countryside. Head out for a hike along one of its many trails and walking routes, and discover wonders along the way like the quaint villages of Alfriston and East Dean (which are also ideal spots for a pub lunch!).

Alternatively, if you’ll only be in town for a day, tick off a few popular tourist activities such as strolling along the three mile long promenade, enjoying arcade games and ice cream on the Grade II-listed pier, and digging into fish and chips on the beach front. Explore the New Devonshire Quarter, a destination for culture and sport, or pay a visit to the area's award-winning galleries and theatres if that’s more your bag. There are plenty of exciting events and festivals that take place in Eastbourne throughout the year: check out the Airshow to see daring acrobatic displays along the coastline.

After a long day out, settle in for an evening of fine food and drink at one of the many restaurants in Eastbourne. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options in the area, along with kid-friendly menus and dog-friendly spots.
