accomplished food & serious wine, but also because it is housed in a striking modern glass pavilion overlooking the town's West Sands. You can see the sea, & passers-by can see you. The
three-course menu could run from lemon sole tempura with scallop, tomato & chilli salsa & sweetcorn foam via turbot with pearl barley, oxtail, celeriac & red wine foam to coconut tart
with spiced pineapple, cardamom tuile & mango sorbet; there are also meat & veggie alternatives for those who don’t fancy fish. The wine list merits time & attention, & front of
house is noted for its fully focused professionalism. In all, this is as sharp & metropolitan as it gets in Fife.
