Former Quince chef Silvena Rowe, who ditched the Mayfair restaurant in March after less than two years as its figurehead, was rumoured to be launching a chain of casual Middle-Eastern
restaurants in London this autumn, called Ottoman Café.
However, in April, reports emerged of Rowe setting her sights on Dubai instead. ‘I’m looking to relocate here,’ the Bulgarian-born chef told gulfnews.com.
But given Rowe’s tenacious personality, don’t be surprised to find an Ottoman Café on a street near you soon.
