Hibiscus chef Claude Bosi (pictured, right) and his brother Cedric, who jointly run The Fox & Grapes on Wimbledon Common, are planning to launch their second gastropub venture in February 2013 – this time in Fulham.
The Malt House, located just off Fulham Broadway, will replicate the successful offering at The Fox & Grapes, which serves modern British dishes and substantial bar snacks in a smart but informal setting. The kitchen will be headed up by Marcus McGuiness, who worked with Bosi at two-Michelin-starred Hibiscus.
Dishes on offer at The Malt House could range from short-rib of beef with pickled red cabbage and horseradish to crab gratin with white port and sea buckthorn.
The 18th-century pub is currently undergoing a refurbishment to its dining room and eight bedrooms.
