On Sunday 25 July, Goodge Street restaurant Salt Yard is running a seven-course tasting menu of southern Italy dishes.
Inspired by the regional cooking of Campania, Puglia, Calabria and also the islands, expect dishes such as red mullet with smoked confit peppers, aubergines and olives, and suckling pig with
braised sweet onions, fennel pollen and the Grenache-based Turriga wine.
Priced at £75 per person, the menu will include accompanying southern Italian wines. The event starts at 1pm and only 40 places are available. To book, call 020 7637 0657.
