Cinnamon Kitchen welcomes three guest chefs

Three is the magic number at Cinnamon Kitchen this summer, as the restaurant hosts a trio of ticketed guest-chef events in April, May and June.

The chefs, who are coming to London from around the UK, will cook four courses in their signature styles, one of them Indian-inspired. Guests will watch the chefs cooking at the restaurant’s tandoor grill and taste the results.

The line-up is as follows:

24 April: Matt Gillan, The Pass

Michelin-starred chef Matt Gillan is head chef at The Pass in Horsham, West Sussex. His dishes will include curried Gressingham duck breast and braised duck leg with blackened onions and pink grapefruit; and roasted stone bass with spring onions, chickpeas and watercress.

15 May: Paul Foster, Tuddenham Mill

Paul Foster is head chef at Tuddenham Mill in Tuddenham, Suffolk. He cooks in a style he describes as ‘natural modern British’, using wild, seasonal ingredients and focusing on flavour. His menu includes slow-cooked cauliflower with hazelnut and chickweed; and whipped sea buckthorn with crispy rice and burnt meringue.

12 June: Chris Lee, The Bildeston Crown

Chris Lee is head chef at The Bildeston Crown, also in Suffolk. He will serve guests cumin-roasted scallops with smoked eel, carrot and cardamom; and artichoke fondant with pickled walnuts and Suffolk Blue cheese.
