Bordeaux enthusiasts, make sure you make a reservation at the Admiralty this week so you can sample the very best that the region has to offer. The restaurant is hosting a week dedicated to the
city of Bordeaux, and in conjunction with this, sommelier David Daguerre and head chef Morgan Meunier have worked together to create a five-course feast complete with carefully selected wines to
complement each dish. The menu features classic Bordeaux favourites such as foie gras served with Sauternes as well as more unusual combinations including fillet of beef paired with Pomerol, and
Chateau Olivier Pessac-Leognan 1999 with sea bass – a fruity and greasy wine, which makes a better partner than a traditional white burgundy.
