Start Bay Inn

we have been to the Start bay many times and had a lovely meal this time we sat outside as we had done before on a nice day what we did not expect was cardboard containers and forks my crab sandwich was not cut and I could not cut it with a cardboard knife and I could not pick my salad up my husband had the same trouble we were expecting China plates and real cutlery not good 

I understand the situation with covid but as I walked in with my family today 13/08/20 there was seating in car park. So I sat down. With a very rude member of staff shouted at me across the car park making everyone stare . I felt extremely uncomfortable. I apologise and said I didnt know. In return she said cant you read I felt again uncomfortable.  As I had my son there I asked her for her name but as she was being so rude to me I didnt hear it. She needs to learn some customers skills. Maybe some more training. Yes we had fish and chips and they were very nice. Never had so many bones in them. But I did feel uncomfortable about her behaviour.  Sitting in a tent in carpark doesn't give her the right to be extremely rude.. but then someone came and sat on an empty table but they didnt get abuse because she knew them funny that. Wish I got her name.
