This 19th-century Victorian country house is home to a choice of stunning spaces for your big day, along with a luxury spa, 88 individually decorated bedrooms and 93 acres of countryside.

This West Sussex wedding venue is a beautiful setting for your big day at any time of year. In spring the surrounding gardens are home to striking rhododendrons which provide a vibrant backdrop to your celebrations and your photos. In the summer months you might choose to say ‘I do’ at the venue’s outside Pavilion, overlooking the 93 acres of gorgeous grounds. In autumn - as the leaves turn - the gardens are awash with a rustic colour palette. While in winter, log burning fires and glowing fairy lights make for a magical setting.

When it comes to planning your wedding at South Lodge, the dedicated events team are experts when it comes to special celebrations and can help you plan your day to perfection. Those looking to host their ceremony onsite will be pleased to know the venue is fully licensed and offers a choice of spaces for your nuptials. The Wordswoth suite is perfect for larger celebrations with space for 80-130 seated, the room is flooded with natural light and also has its own private terrace. Smaller ceremonies might be better suited to the intimate and cosy Glyndebourne suite which - despite its smaller size - still has an impressive aisle to walk down and make your grand entrance. From April to September couples can also choose the outdoor Pavilion for a gorgeous celebration surrounded by acres of natural beauty and a view of the impressive mansion. The Gladstone suite is then a beautiful space for your evening celebrations where you and your guests can dance the night away until midnight.
