Atrium
Let’s not beat around the bush: airport hotels can be grim affairs. That’s what makes the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow such a pleasant surprise. This large four-star hotel on Bath Road, a few minutes’ cab ride (or Hoppa bus) ride from the airport, somehow manages not to feel like an airport hotel at all – quite a feat. As one of Europe’s largest conference centres, there’s no shortage of spaces for meetings and events, including the spectacular Newbury Suite – a glasshouse complete with palm trees and a small waterfall. Another stand-out is the ultra-modern, light-filled Atrium, which lends itself perfectly to product launches and cocktail parties. Food is modern British, and come the evening you’ll likely as not find your delegates propping up the hip new Bijou Bar. Another plus is that guests get complimentary airport parking when flying from Heathrow (there are 650 spaces so finding a spot won’t be a problem).
