Europe’s highest conference centre also happens to be one of the most accessible. You’ll find the striking Rondo 1,800 metres up in the Engadin St Moritz region, slap-bang in the middle of a triangle formed by Zurich, Milan and Munich. Each of these cities has a major airport, though many Continental delegates might prefer to drive or take the train. The Rondo’s largest space, for up to 500 seated guests, is the Sela Arabella auditorium, famed for its acoustics and spectacular views. There are also seven seminar rooms, all with natural daylight, and three foyers that can be utilised for events. Rondo offers a booking service to find accommodation and restaurants in nearby Pontresina. There are plenty of activities on offer, including skiing (St Moritz is a short drive away), snowshoe hikes and skating on a natural ice rink. In summer consider river rafting, Via Ferrata, canyoning or tee off on one of four golf courses.
