Home to the Edinburgh International Festival, this landmark Grade A-listed building at the top of the Royal Mile combines Victorian architecture with contemporary design, dominating the skyline between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. Its colourful interiors provide a lively backdrop for creative events, catering for anything from conferences to dinners and drinks receptions. Equipped with hi-tech AV facilities, the spacious Main Hall seats up to 400 delegates theatre style and comes with convenient breakout space on the Gallery just above. Adjacent to this space is the Dunard Library, which seats 70 beneath soaring sky-lit ceilings. Smaller groups can use the Glass Room, a secluded boardroom-style space with a private balcony and views stretching right across the city to the rugged Pentland Hills. The popular on-site restaurant, Cafe Hub, can also be hired on an exclusive basis for events.
