The one-stop shop for private and corporate events at the University of Birmingham, venuebirmingham has a broad range of event space on its books. There’s the bright, homely space in Grade II-listed Winterbourne House, the cathedral-like Great Hall, the contemporary Conference Park for residential events and, new for 2012, the ultra-modern Bramall Music Building. Set in leafy Edgbaston, transport links are another plus. A dedicated campus train station allows direct access to Birmingham city centre, while delegates from further afield can take advantage of the city’s central location, serviced by express trains from London and domestic and international flights from the nearby airport. Meeting capacities range from 2 up to 1,000 guests and there is plenty of accommodation on offer. In addition to conferencing, canapé receptions, barbecues, buffets, working lunches and banqueting can all be arranged.
