Immaculate restoration has transformed this 18th-century Grade I-listed mansion into one of the UK’s most magnificent five-star hotels. Luton Hoo is a stunning setting for a wedding, a treasure trove of spaces, from the elegant Ballroom to the walnut-panelled Churchill Room & the Library. The scale lends itself readily to large weddings but more intimate events are also well catered for. With 1,000 acres of Capability Brown parkland & formal Italian gardens by the main house, there’s no shortage of camera fodder either. Newly-weds are following in some illustrious footsteps – Queen Elizabeth II & the Duke of Edinburgh celebrated their wedding anniversary numerous times in the rooms that now make up the Queen Elizabeth State Suite.
