The Montreux Music & Convention Centre, or 2m2c, first opened its doors in 1973, since which time it has established itself as one of Europe’s premier congress and convention venues. The original building, known as Miles Davis (for meetings of up to 500), has been joined by the newer Stravinski, giving 2m2c a total floor space of 18,000sq m. Stravinski’s world-famous auditorium has a clever modular floor, making it hugely flexible – it can accommodate up to 1,000 for a sit-down dinner, 1800 for a convention, or be set up for more intimate events such as class-room style lectures for 300 (there are plenty of smaller meeting rooms too). There are also terraces with views of Lake Geneva and the Alps for al fresco events.
