With stacks of experience in private events, The Swan, a high-end brasserie near Sevenoaks, is a crowd-pleaser for entertaining. The 15th-century coaching inn has undergone a sensitive restoration with a contemporary edge, mixing high-end stainless steel, zinc and granite with traditional wood beams. You can book tables of 10 in the main dining room, take exclusive hire of the entire site for up to 300 guests, or book the boutique private rooms for more intimate dinners, smaller stand-up receptions and meetings. In the summer months, the lovely shaded terrace opens for outside parties, barbecues and marquee events – weddings are very popular here. As you’d expect, the food (majoring on seasonal British classics) is first rate. The in-house event team, Swan About, will bring the Swan’s expertise to events held off site too.
