The home of England’s most successful domestic rugby club is also one of the Midlands’ best-equipped and largest event spaces. Hosting 24,000 fans on matchdays, and with 38 function rooms available, Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road Stadium offers numerous options for events. These range from small meetings of eight in one of its executive boxes, right up to drinks receptions of 1,500 in the versatile and well-lit Premiership Suite. Concerts are a new feature at the ground – in 2010 it hosted the first in a series of on-pitch gigs, with Will Young and James Morrison attracting capacity crowds. Exhibitions are one of the venue’s strong suits as its concourses boast an array of AV equipment, offer the facility to drive cars in for product launches and have plenty of space for interactive experiences and entertainment. Transport links are excellent, with Leicester Station a short walk away and plenty of on-site parking.
