Produced in County Fermanagh since the mid-19th century, Belleek Pottery is one of Northern Ireland’s most heralded exports and its beautiful fine parian china continues to draw admirers from around the world to this day. Sitting pretty on the banks of the River Erne, the imposing building where the pottery used to be produced has been completely refurbished and now houses a museum, tearoom, video theatre and showroom. Groups of 10-12 can pre-book ‘Hand Crafted in Belleek Experience’ tours which not only provide the chance to view some of the company’s finest work, but also offer a practical demonstration from a master craftsman and give guests the chance to create their own piece of pottery. The tearoom, with its lovely river views, can take groups of up to 50 seated guests and the museum is perfect for drinks receptions, with Ireland’s oldest pottery providing the beautiful backdrop.
