With its late licence and typically convenient location within walking distance of Central Station, the Tiger Tiger chain’s Newcastle operation is a smart choice for an evening event. There are seven individually styled bars to choose from, spread over three floors, including three (the Tiger Bar, the White Room & the colonial-style Raffles Bar & Snug) that can accommodate up to 400 standing. Smaller groups of up to 60 might prefer the Moroccon-style Kaz Bar & Snug, while the 90’s Pop Room can, appropriately enough, take up to 90 standing. The restaurant offers a good range of dishes and an extensive wine list, & there are even attractive VIP Champagne Packages available in the White Room.
