Set in serene countryside on a 220-acre estate with 800-year-old castle ruins, the Castlemartyr Resort offers an impressive range of event space. In the 17th-century manor house, you’ll find atmospheric wood-panelled rooms suited to board meetings and private dinners, while an ultra-modern extension houses the purpose-built Capel Suite. With top-spec AV, plus its own entrance, outside area and valet parking facilities, this space ticks every box in terms of functionality. First and foremost, though, it’s a really beautiful room, with soaring ceilings and striking, all-white interiors, able to accommodate 250 for meetings, 190 for dinners or 400 for receptions. There’s also a wide range of leisure activities available – the hotel’s spa, inland links golf course and restaurant are all destinations in their own right – and overnight guests are in for a treat as the bedrooms (even the standard ones) are massive.
