The 224-bedroom Ramada Plaza Basel Hotel & Conference Centre enjoys a handy location right next to Messe Basel (the city’s main exhibition venue) but its real claim to fame is that it’s situated in the tallest habitable building in Basel – an unmissable glass tower. Views of the city & mountains can be admired from the SkyLounge on the 30th floor, which is accessible to all hotel guests. The Conference Centre is located on the third floor – also boasting fine views – & comprises nine meeting rooms, all of which are flooded with natural daylight & come equipped with AV facilities & high-speed internet access. The largest of these is a modern & versatile space that can accommodate up to 350 persons. Decor throughout the property is crisp & modern, with futuristic furniture on display in the lobby, while the restaurant & cocktail bar employ ‘lighting architecture’ to great effect.
