Venue Review of The RNLI Lifeboat College
The award-winning RNLI Lifeboat College is set at the edge of Poole harbour, where it serves up stunning sea views alongside flexible event facilities. This modern and inspiring venue can host up to 200 conference delegates across a range of 10 flexible function rooms, with top-spec AV and technical support built into the delegate rates, and 60 en-suite bedrooms for overnight guests. Private dining and training facilities are also available, but the real strength here is teambuilding and the popular RNLI Sea Survival Experience, which brings groups together over a taster of the training that real Lifeboat crews are put through. Tasks include poolside survival drills, helicopter recoveries and the righting of life rafts – all of them performed while participants are dressed in full RNLI crew kit. By booking events at the RNLI Lifeboat College, organisers are directly benefiting the eponymous charity that saves lives at sea.
