Junior suite
In common with its Paphos sibling, the Amathus Beach Hotel, Limassol is right on the beach, with meeting rooms facing out to sea. Refurbishment of the public areas, restaurants, bars & meeting rooms was completed in 2009, with architects successfully blending the building’s 1970s style with 21st-century contemporary design touches. A new spa also launched last year, with 11 treatment rooms & a gym overlooking the beach. The hotel’s main conference centre houses the Demetra Ballroom, easily the most impressive space, where delegates can look out through floor-to-ceiling windows to calming views of the Mediterranean Sea. There are plenty of rooms available for smaller groups & alfresco areas include the lobby terrace for parties of 200, or numbers of up to 3,000 around the lawns & gardens. The range of 239 bedrooms includes suites with Bulgari toiletries & private outdoor pools.
