Part of the Thanos Hotels group, a family-run company comprising three luxury five-star Cypriot hotels, Almyra (formerly the Paphos Beach Hotel) was the first hotel to be built in Paphos back in 1973. Relaunched in 2003, it is now a sleek, contemporary space with 189 luxurious bedrooms, all equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi. Varied event spaces, both inside & out, include the 300-seater Mosaics Restaurant, with a live kitchen & two outside areas. Other eateries within the hotel also serve as events spaces, as do the Kyma Seafront Suites, with seafront & rooftop terraces offering ideal areas for drinks receptions. Rooms more suitable for meetings include the Athina Boardroom, leading off Almyra’s tranquil courtyard, & the Helios Room, with its own private terrace overlooking Paphos Castle & the harbour. The hotel also has a new spa, which launched in 2009.
