Overlooking picturesque Balluta Bay, the five-star Le Méridien St Julian’s was built in 2006. The contemporary hotel has 276 guest rooms & suites, each with balconies overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Meetings & events are well catered for, with a purpose-built 1,800sq m events floor housing a lecture theatre with raked seating & desks for 141 delegates. Two large naturally-lit rooms can accommodate meetings for up to 350 or seated dinners for 320, joined by smaller syndicate rooms (one subdivisible) & an executive boardroom seating 14. Exhibition space is also available & a landscaped terrace serves as a breakout area for alfresco drinks receptions for 500. A Michelin-starred chef heads up the Villa Brasserie & there is a choice of four further dining destinations. The hotel also features a 1,600sq m luxury spa & the Marsa Sports Club is nearby, featuring par 68 golf courses & tennis courts.
