Purpose-built for The 2010 Ryder Cup, the Twenty Ten Clubhouse boasts state-of-the-art facilities as well as views of the all-important 18th green. Panning out beyond, the 7,493 yard, par 71 Twenty Ten course has been designed with sweeping panoramas in mind & the clubhouse certainly takes advantage of them – there’s even a balcony that wraps around the building. Highlights include a members’ lounge with leather chesterfields & a warming open hearth, Rafters Bar & Restaurant with its floor-to-ceiling cedar beams & the Samuel Ryder Suite, which seats 96 guests for private events. There is also a spike bar, pro shop & luxurious, oak-panelled locker rooms. The facility will become the epicentre of the action at this year’s Ryder Cup, but it’s otherwise available for private events & corporate golf days, with or without accommodation at the 400-bed, five-star resort.
