With an attractive, central location overlooking Queen Street Gardens, The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh sits close to all the amenities of the Scottish capital. Part of the College dates back to the 1770s and was designed by renowned architect Robert Adam, which makes it a handsome backdrop for events. The Victorian Great Hall and the galleried New Library lend themselves to larger dinners and receptions, while the Georgian Cullen Suite suits more intimate events. The physic garden provides an attractive outdoor area for small summer receptions. AV facilities are another strong suit here – the 300-capacity Conference Centre is fitted with a key-pad voting system and video conferencing and a dedicated AV technician is on hand for events. There’s Wi-Fi throughout. The College is licensed for civil weddings and religious ceremonies, with exclusive use of the historic rooms on the day of the wedding.
