Leeds Metropolitan University holds one of the largest conference sites in the UK. Centrally located with over 273 bedrooms and 120 meeting rooms across the city, it’s the only option for conferences of over 1,000 delegates (across a number of rooms) in the north of England. The flagship five-story glass structure known as the Rose Bowl is the stand-out space and has won two design awards since its opening in 2009. Flooded with natural daylight and equipped with some of the latest AV technology, this venue holds from 64 to 256 delegates theatre style. Carnegie Village, a pioneering development of high-quality, purpose-built flats at the university’s Headingley Campus, offers appealing accommodation, while Ghandi Hall is best suited to formal dinners and exhibitions. All of the venues have disabled access and a limited amount of parking is available.
