Venue Review of Center Parcs Whinfell Forest
Center Parcs Whinfell Forest lies on the edge of the Lake District in 400 acres of lush pine forest. Conference facilities comprise the Green Room, which holds up to 350 delegates theatre style or 250 for a dinner dance and includes a break-out lounge as well as a cinema room.Teambuilding activities can be tailored to suit individual objectives and there is paintballing in a purpose-built arena, as well as quad biking, archery and laser combat. Indoor activities include badminton, squash, snooker and ten-pin bowling. Relax in the award-winning Aqua Sana Spa afterwards. Group dining options run from large-scale gala dinners to informal buffets and barbecues. For residential events, guests can stay in two-, three- or four-bedroom villas, some with private saunas, dotted around the forest. Keep your eyes out for the rare red squirrels – Whinfell Forest is a haven for the few surviving colonies in the UK.
