Following extensive refurbishment in 2008, traditional coaching inn The Lambert Arms has had a complete makeover, retaining its historical features but adding a modern twist. Nine stylish & spacious bedrooms feature plasma TVs & the restaurant offers locally sourced modern British cuisine, with a menu devised by Michelin-starred executive chef, Rob Clayton. A new function room accommodates up to 140 guests & features floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views over the Chiltern Hills. An adjoining room with its own dedicated bar is perfect for breakouts, drinks receptions & pre-registration, while the furnished outdoor courtyard area is ideal for al fresco dining & relaxed receptions. By 2009, the Lambert Arms will have introduced a further 35 en suite bedrooms (in the new Mews Wing), a gym & two treatment rooms.
