Science Museum Swindon is a former WWII airfield, now a storage site for the Science Museum's national collection. Housed in seven giant aircraft hangars, the artifacts range from the giant Lockheed Constellation airliner used by the Rolling Stones, to early computers, the first hovercraft and a huge Wood printing press. Located above the city of Swindon with panoramic views, Science Museum Swindon is easily accessible from the M4 and is less than one hour from London. With large hangar space, runway and acres of land available for hire there are endless possibilities for large scale outdoor events including music festivals, car shows and vehicle rallies. It can also be used as a first class film location or unique venue for large-scale conferences up to 1,000 delegates.
