Ockendon Manor
Set in nine acres of Sussex countryside and peaceful parkland, this beautiful Elizabethan manor house is tucked away in Cuckfield, one of the most charming Tudor villages in England. The 28 individually designed guest rooms – some of which have four-poster beds – are each adorned with antiques, fresh flowers and real log fires. For conferences, the Ockenden Suite, with its high ceilings and adjoining conservatory, provides a bright space for up to 100 delegates theatre style. It can also seat 75 guests for private dining. The terrace and gardens can be used for teambuilding or more informal alfresco dining (the on-site restaurant is Michelin-starred and serves a seven-course tasting menu). Ockenden Manor is available on an exclusive-use basis for residential events, with the romantic grounds particularly suited to weddings. It’s also conveniently located just 20 minutes from Gatwick.
