The venue features excellent conference & meeting room facilities, comprehensive leisure & spa facilities & many of the 114 bedrooms that enjoy stunning views over the Shropshire countryside. The hotel is set within a World Heritage Site, the Ironbridge Gorge, known as the valley of invention. Nine of the bedrooms are located in Darby House - Abraham Darby's house whilst he was overseeing the construction of the world's first Iron Bridge. The hotel is located just off the M54 motorway & only 30 minutes from Birmingham. The Coalport Suite holds up to 350 delegates theatre style or 280 for a dinner, & the room divides into four smaller rooms, ideal for any occasion. There are four further small meeting rooms including one in Darby House. The venue also boasts a mature championship 18-hole golf course.
