Corporate event specialist Conference Aston operates some of Birmingham’s top city-centre conference and banqueting venues. Aston Business School Conference Centre is the group’s flagship conference hotel, opened in 2006 after a £20m injection. The purpose-built property comprises 163 four-star-standard bedrooms – running from ‘classic’ to ‘superior’ – and suites, as well as 24 state-of-the-art meeting rooms. The main space can seat up to 235 delegates and there’s free Wi-Fi access throughout. Further facilities include a dedicated business centre and a 300-capacity restaurant, where chefs give live cooking demonstrations. Private dining is offered in a range of rooms, which are decorated in the modern, chic style that runs throughout the venue. Exceptional transport links are another plus; the venue is a few minutes from the M6 and less than a mile from all three mainline Birmingham stations.
