Berry House is an elegant Georgian home situated in remote open farmland close to the cliffs of the rugged & dramatic North Devon coast. In a designated ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’, the house has clear views out to sea as well as inland across a wooded valley to the tall medieval tower of St Nectan's church. Its origins date back to medieval times, but the house was completely remodelled in the 1760s. As with the other properties in the Big House portfolio, great care has been taken to retain the historic character of the building though while discreetly incorporating the best modern services & providing a sense of contemporary style. In total there are 10 inviting double bedrooms, with exposed beams & wooden floors, four of which have an additional single bed, as well as eight bathrooms. Ask about the catering option – local produce is worth taking advantage of.
