Built in the late 1800s, Widcombe Grange is a stone-built country house set in 22 acres of landscaped woodland on the Blackdown hills – an ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’. The main house & cottage can accommodate up to 24 guests in bright modern bedrooms with plump duvets & comfortable beds. Kitchens & bathrooms are similarly fresh, while living rooms have a more traditional country house feel. In front of the house is a natural pond with its own island gazebo & to the west of the property lies woodland featuring many rare & specimen trees. You will also find a two-acre fishing lake & a newly planted cider apple orchard, as well as a heated outdoor pool in a sunny walled area. The spectacular grounds lend themselves to a range of country pursuits: archery, fishing & clay shooting. Local chefs are on hand to prepare a range of meals for your party.
