Following several years of painstaking planning & restoration, Elite Hotels’ eagerly awaited Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire launched in October 2007. The Grade I-listed building is set in more than 1,000 acres of parklands landscaped by Capability Brown, with the river Lea snaking through the grounds, creating two lakes for fishing & boating. The property offers a range of 17 different conference spaces, from converted stables to ornate staterooms, seating up to 120 in the largest. There are 144 beautifully furnished bedrooms & suites, several relaxing lounges & two restaurant options offering either fine gourmet cuisine or a more informal dining experience. The 18-hole, par 73 golf course provides 7,105 yards of challenging play with wonderful views of the estate, while the brand new spa, which opened in December 2007, provides the latest health & beauty treatments as well as an indoor swimming pool.
