The event spaces at the boutique Bingham make the most of the hotel’s delightful location on the banks of the Thames. From the trio of interconnecting Garden Rooms, a glazed corridor leads through to a terrace with landscaped gardens and the river just beyond. Accessed via a private entrance, the spaces can be joined or separated by soundproof doors, accommodating board meetings just as readily as conferences and weddings (Bingham has a civil licence). The rooms are bright and elegant with a private bar, large windows and French doors that lead onto the terrace, which is covered and heated in winter. Top-of-the-range technology includes 50-inch plasma screens, intelligent lighting systems and climate control. Food is a highlight – the restaurant has a whole host of awards to its name – including energy-boosting lunches to keep delegates focused. A collection of 15 stylish bedrooms caters for residential events.
