Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment that finished in 2007, the newly relaunched Opera House in Bournemouth has become one of the south coast’s most impressive alternative events venues. Not your archetypal opera house, the venue features a fresh & dramatic interior with stylish graphic art on the walls, making it a great backdrop for concerts, fashion shows, music video shoots & product launches. Huge drinks receptions for up to 1,525 guests can be held in the main auditorium, & organisers have plenty of impressive smaller areas to play with too – the first-floor 400-capacity Gallery, six bars, two Royal Boxes & 12 private booths. It’s worth noting that the Opera House is a part of the FJB Hotels Group portfolio, which means guests attending events at the venue can get special room rates at The Chine Hotel, Haven, Sandbanks or Harbour Heights.
