The Village at Lyons is a rare venue made up of a series of homesteads, once part of an ancient village located near Dublin & brought back to life in an exciting restoration project that began in 1996. Characterised by striking architectural features, master craftsmanship & decorative detailing, the dwellings include a Georgian canal station & the Shackleton House, a two-bedroom building with its own private garden & dining space for ten. The village also offers two restaurants. The Mill Restaurant, a fine dining establishment with renowned chef Richard Corrigan at the helm, offers formal panelled surroundings & rich tapestry wall hangings. The restaurant’s two elegant private rooms can accommodate groups of up to 16 guests. Meanwhile, Cafe la Serre is a more casual affair with outdoor seating & there’s the loungey Lyons Den with its antique leather sofas & open fire.
