Wimpole Hall Information:

Designed with entertaining in mind, Wimpole Hall spent its heyday playing host to a glittering circle of writers, musicians & artists invited here by the second Earl of Oxford. It was also the home of Rudyard Kipling’s daughter, Mrs Bambridge, who helped restore the fine Gibbs, Flitcroft & Soane-designed interiors to their former glory. Today, this magnificent venue forms part of the stunning portfolio of properties available to hire through The National Trust & is able to provide an impressive backdrop for just about any event. Housing a grand collection of paintings, furniture & ceramics, the venue’s striking dining room has space for 40 seated guests, while drinks receptions for up to 60 can be hosted in the grand Entrance Hall. Adjacent to the main house is the Old Rectory, a beautiful, inviting building with a private terrace & manicured garden, & there are many great locations for marquees in the surrounding parkland.
