Dating back to 1865, The Chester Grosvenor & Spa is owned by & named after the family of the Duke of Westminster. Located in the heart of the historic city, the distinctive black & white timbered facade of this Grade II-listed building belies the modern elegance of the hotel's interior, which features 80 individually designed rooms & suites. A £3m refurbishment programme of the event spaces, begun in 2007, has seen the opening of the new Westminster Suite, a contemporary setting for functions & now featuring the very latest technology. The Eaton Suite completes the final stage of the refurbishment, where chandeliers & traditional soft furnishings have been replaced with bespoke contemporary boardroom furniture and state-of-the-technology. The property also has a luxury spa offering traditional & holistic treatments & two award-winning restaurants: the relaxed La Brasserie & Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor (formerly The Arkle). The latter has been Michelin-starred for the past 18 years & has one of the most extensive wine cellars in England.
