The history of Winton House goes back more than 500 years, with ties to Robert the Bruce, Mary Queen of Scots and Charles I. Available for exclusive use and located only half an hour from Edinburgh, the venue can accommodate a variety of events in the house and grounds, including meetings, lunches, BBQs and private house parties (with dinner in the splendid Dining Room), plus marquee events for up to 400. Overnight stays can be arranged in the main house (sleeping up to 16), while two nearby four- and five-star country houses sleep 12 each. Set in 2,000 acres of rural estate, Winton House is also a great destination for teambuilding. Clay pigeon shooting (with instruction from clay pigeon shooting legend Billy Gordon) and ‘Winton Highland Games’ are among activities that can be arranged. The venue holds a gold Green Business Tourism Scheme (GBTS) award for its environmental approach.
