The Midland Information:
The Midland is one of the most famous landmarks in Manchester. Built in 1903, the hotel is steeped in history & has benefited from a £15 million renovation programme to restore the building to its former grandeur. The venue has hosted some famous meetings in its time, most notably between Charles Stewart Rolls & Frederick Henry Royce, which led to the creation of Rolls Royce Limited. These days, the eleven different conference & event rooms feature Wi-Fi throughout, as well as air-conditioning & blackout facilities. The magnificent Alexandra Suite hosts up to 600 guests & has direct street access making it an excellent setting for exhibitions & product launches. There are also the stunning oak-panelled Stanley & Lancaster Suites & the ornate Trafford Room, which provides a stunning venue for banquets. It’s worth noting that the Midland offers an all-inclusive meeting package.
