Six-storey spa, Leisure club withpool, sauna, spa bath, solarium & gym
Sitting in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, just a few minutes’ walk from Princes Street and opposite Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the five-star Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa occupies a plum city-centre location. It completes a multi-million pound refurbishment in March this year, when the launch of a dedicated events facility with its own entrance (the largest of its kind in the city) will bring 935sq m of flexible space to the market. Accommodating groups of between 12 and 1,500 guests, all 14 function rooms will feature natural daylight and integrated AV, while many of them will have sliding walls, allowing them to be divided and combined as required. The hotel’s bedrooms have also been recently refurbished and a new restaurant and bar will launch in March 2012. Another highlight of the property is its One Spa, which is home to a Thermal Suite, a 19m infinity pool and a stunning rooftop Hydropool.
