The country’s only medieval bastion still intact, Grade I-listed 19th-century Peckforton Castle is set amid Cheshire woodland. A recent renovation programme has seen a complete overhaul of the interior, in keeping with the medieval style, with all 47 bedrooms receiving a full revamp including new bathrooms throughout. Further facilities include a brasserie, located in the old scullery with many features retained from the 1840s, and two beauty treatment rooms. The five meeting suites retain their original look, equipped with all the amenities required for conferencing. The 180-capacity Drawing Room is the largest on offer, while the Boardroom is a more intimate space. The atmospheric Great Hall, Library and Hexagonal Room (recognisable from the 1991 film Robin Hood) are further options. Beyond the boardroom, falconry, Land Rover Experiences and numerous teambuilding activities can be arranged.
