Yorkshire’s Wood Hall Hotel & Spa – part of Hand Picked Hotels – stands next to a Carmelite monastery that’s home to a silent order of nuns, and the pervading sense of peace can be felt all around the four-star hillside venue. Six meeting rooms, each with Wi-Fi, can cater for anything from 10 delegates for a boardroom meeting to 100 for a theatre-style conference or private dinner. The largest function spaces are the interconnecting Linton and Wharfedale Rooms.
