Venue Review of Ettington Park Hotel
Hand Picked Hotels’ imposing Grade I-listed neo-Gothic mansion, Ettington Park, is set in 40 acres of private grounds five miles outside Stratford-upon-Avon. Furnished with antiques and hung with oil paintings, its interiors are sumptuous and elegant. The four-star hotel’s bedrooms, refurbished a couple of years back, blend modern comforts with historic features. Its individual event spaces include a 19th-century Chapel, boasting its original stained-glass windows, and the South Room, featuring a stone fireplace and oak-panelled ceilings. The timber-ceilinged Long Gallery is another standout space for conferencing or candlelit banqueting, with tables surrounded by book-lined walls. Corporate teambuilding can be arranged to suit specific requirements, with activities ranging from laser clay shooting and quad biking to ‘human table football’. The venue also holds a wedding licence.
